Abstract


The method used as a means in conveying a message or the subject matter to the students. To learning can be optimal method of learning proper, required a method of learning proper one of them is to use the story. Draft of the problem is :(1) use of the method tells the story as a stimulus in learning drawing illustrations for students of class fifth in public elementary pekuncen 01?. (2) How a result of learning draw an illustration by using the method tell you a student fifth in public elementary pekuncen 01?. (3) What advantages and disadvantages of the use of methods tell a story as a stimulus in learning draw an illustration of a fifth grade students in public elementary pekuncen 01?. While the goal of his research is to know, get an overview, and explains the above issue 3. This research using descriptive qualitative approach to the location of research in public elementary pekuncen 01 located in the way of mataram no.369, village pekuncen, sub-district kroya, district cilacap. The target of this research is the three issues at the top. The subject of this research is a student fifth, students range of 11 years old. Technical data research is interview observation, and study documentary. Engineering data analysis conducted through data, the reduction, presentation of data and withdrawal unverified or drawing conclusions. The result showed learning drawing illustration run well very enthusiastic, child and joy when listening to stories. overall illustration artwork in 5th grade Elementary School in character Pekuncen 01 child image type, which is a cross between a mix of haptik and visual. Second, the work of students as a whole has good value and quite alone, 12 students with good grades and 17 students with enough value. Third, excess usage confided method is every students the easier it will bring up ideas and expand the horizons of students on a wide variety of original folklore Cilacap. Then, the rest are on the process of drawing, students hard in drawing a human figure. Some suggestions that can be explained is as follows. First, the use of methods of storytelling, needs to be done with various preparations ripe.
